A fine Egyptian Pink Limestone Cosmetic Jar, Middle Kingdom, ca 2040-1786 BCE

the fine, convex sided jar with gently tapering sides to a small flat base, and hollowed to thin-walled perfection.

Condition: Upper rim missing, otherwise intact and in excellent condition overall.  A rare and extremely fine example.
