The Cusco Air Suction Pipe Kit for the Toyota 86 & Subaru BRZ is a direct factory replacement component that enhances air intake efficiency. Since naturally aspirated applications are very sensitive to modifications, certain aspects such as air intake is a critical factor in performance enhancement. By giving a smoother internal intake wall lining than the OEM Toyota factory ribbed design, a significant increase in air intake velocity can be realized. Smooth, transitional airflow equals less turbulence. The aluminum pipe is a direct replacement of the factory piece where the air intake filter box is retained in its original position. The Cusco Air Intake Suction Pipe Kit is 100% Bolt-On Type. The OEM "Sound Creator" pipe is compatible with the aluminum air suction pipe. The sound creator function can also be eliminated by installing a bung to the port, completely sealing off any airflow to the air intake system. Compatible with factory ECU.
