A large Tairona Quartzite Bead pendant, ca. 500 CE

A beautiful barrel-shaped bead hand-carved from translucent white quartz, a hole drilled longitudinally for suspension.

Dimensions: Bead length: 2.8 cm (1.1 inches). Strung on a 16-inch silver chain

Condition: Intact and in excellent condition overall.

Provenance: Private Florida collection, acquired early 1970s.
