A published Egyptian Alabaster Dummy Amphora, Ptolemaic Period, ca. 300 - 30 BCE

The long cylindrical body tapering to a pointed base, twin lug handles below the rim.

Dimensions: Length: 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm)

Condition:  Chip to base otherwise intact and in very good condition overall.  Faint pencil marks to the lower body.

Provenance: The Harer Family Trust Collection, acquired from Superior Galleries, Los Angeles, in 1978.
